i decided to help out my sister in law by lettering her stay with my husbandand me. it's been over a month now and my father in law says that pa state law says i have to evict her. my understanding of the law is she hasn't paid rent their for she is a guest and if she will not leave willingly i could call the cops for trespassing. Quick response would be apreashed, i'm a newly wed living in a two bedroom trailor with 6 people!

Your Father In-law is correct. You must first find out your states guidline son this but I will guess its similar to most states. Here is "normal" process. Give this person a notice to vacate. Normally this would be for one rental period but since she is not paying rent give 30 days. Keep a copy of this notice. If she is not out by said notice then go to court to begin eviction process
