ok im a security guard and i had was talking to an employee that i usually joke around w/ and can talk to a lot. so i we got into a talking about the election and it came out that obama had won and i told him in just stating something i heard from others that if obama got in that he would be shot. i guess he said that affended him and now there moving me to somewhere maybe. can the terminate me and if they do can i fight it. or what?

If your in an "at will" state yes they can barring any employment contract or cba.

Freedom of speech means that the GOVERNMENT cannot limit your speech. It does not mean that your employer cannot fire you for saying something he finds inappropriate.
