my friend has a court date on may 5th and its for a hering to enter a plea his laywer said they are going to offer him a deal but now his lawyer is not going to be there, he has been on house arrest waiting on court date and want to end this situation i am afraid with his lawyer gone he may not get all the information he needs what can he do with out a lawyer there

the Atty should let the court know he's not going to be there and motion for hearing to be moved. Does the Atty have someone who can appear in his place?
