garbage trees

My neighbor's garbage tree is hanging about ten feet over the property line and little marble size berrys and leaves in my fish pond. I have asked them to trim the tree and they refuse, can I trim tree up to my property line?

Is there a POA or HOA that you can make this request formally? If not, then notify them, via certified letter, that you will trim the tree branches that are falling over your property. Good Luck!
