I have been dealing with this agency for about a few years now and they have been the most irritating pain in the arse. I talk with one of the representatives there and he let me know that I can set up some payment arrangement to take of my debts owed for a car that was totaled in an accident. To make a long story short... I have been paying these guys money , but not only have they went out of thier way to place a lien on my account but also garnish my wages aferwards even while I was paying them money. I really believe I need legal representation but I cannot find a lawyer to represent me. Please help!!! Thanks

Whatever area you live in might have a free legal service or advice. Start by dialing 411. They may have a discount service if not free. If the debt is way high you might consider bankruptcy to get out of the debt, but that follows you for up to ten years. A debt consolidator might be able to get them to take less. For drastic action you can quit your job and start over so they have to track you down again. Check to see if you can file an exemption with the court to stop the garnishments by law. There are two different forms for exemption. One for wages and one for bank accounts. They will have a list of reasons for legal exemptions including plain old hardship. If you can get it to go in front of a judge GO! They probably won't show up and you will win by default. Claim of exemption and court are your best avenue.
