I was paying on a bill through consumer credit and my income got messed up, I losted some of my income for 3 months, so I had to let his bill go.
They wanted the original monthly amount which was $226.00, and I was paying $133.00 through consumer credit.
Now they are threating to put my account into collections.
If I don't pay even through collections, what are my options?
I am in Oregon, they are in California. Can they garish my wages over state lines?
Isn't there a law stating that you have to be making a certain amount for your wages to be garnished?
