I signed a release for back pay of $8,000 from my last employer,I went to cash the chech he had no money in the bank is the agreement still good?

Yes, Do you still have the check? If you do (you should) Keep going to his bank to cash it -- if he never has $$ time to look at suing him

Yes i do have the check. The company that hires him to build the project was going to fire him unless he go a release from me. now he has the release to give them and i have no money. what a tricky guy
