Getting a server back

Not sure what topic to post this in or if anyone can help but thought it was worth a shot

im having a problem getting my colocated* server back from my host there not answering any emails or phone calls, i did manage to get through to them today but soon as i gave them my customer number they hung up on me. How can i get my server back? all my payments to them are upto date

*colocated is where you own the server and send it to a datacenter and rent space, power and bandwidth from them.

Send them a return receipt, certified letter stating that you want your server returned immediately. File a small claims suit against them for the return of the server or cost of the server if they fail to respond.
