Ineed to know what steps to take to get legal custody of my daughter who was taken from us through the court and she was adopted by her grandparents now we all agree she needs to legally be ours again. she already lives with us but we need to have it leagalized.

If your rights have been terminated and the grandparents LEGALLY adopted her, you'll have to adopt her yourselves.

You'll have to convince the court that you're now fit to be parents.

Because you list your parental rights, you now have a huge burden to overcome.

You'll need pysch evals, financial stmts, background checks, people who will testify as to your good character, stable employment, an almost immaculate home, a great attorney, and lots of money to pay for all that crap!!

And, all of that might not be enough.

But, if you still wanna pursue this, start looking for your attorney now. You can't do this pro se!!!!

Why did the courts remove your parental rights? Neglect? Abuse? Addiction? When did this occur? How old were the children and how old are they now?
