I was injured at my job while I was not clocked in. I went to the care center and they drug tested me In which I failed. I was fired on my first day back after I was off for two weeks. My question is can they fire me if I wasn't legally on the clock.

You answered your question within your question. They ALREADY terminated your employment, so the answer again is, YES.

An employer need not say anything more than the two words made famous by Donald Trump, "You're fired!"

You have no legal recourse against your former employer.
There's no legal requirement that your employer tell you anymore that he or she just isn't into you anymore, and just isn't feeling it.

You're free to begin your job search, apply for unemployment, or anything other thing you choose to do.

Yes, this is entirely legal. You were on their property under the influence and ended up costing them money as a result. I can think of few better reasons to fire you.

You were at work site with intent to work. You were also under the influence of some unapproved chemical substance. Yes this was legal

I have absolutely no idea why so many people think they can't be fired for something they do off the clock. They can. In all 50 states. Some states have put some limits on that; for example, in some states you cannot be fired for use of a LEGAL substance. Illegal substances, not so much.

Yes, it was a legal termination. In at-will employment, you can be terminated at any time for any reason except a reason prohibited by law (ie religion, race, gender....) or unless you have a binding employment contract to the contrary.

File for UI - you might not get it but it is the state's decision - also, look for other employment.
