Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft GOT CAUGHT STEALING AT CONVENIENCE STORE

Last night I was caught stealing Lubricant from a convenience store they made me go to the back and fill out some paper work and recieved a barring notice, I had no ID on me so they could not just let me go, they called the police and the police asked the store if I should pay them back for the stolen good and they said no, the police filed that I was banned from the store. then they let me go, but said something about receiving a letter, the police said I was lucky they were so nice to me, now what?

I am guessing the "letter" is Civil Demand which means no criminal charges
