Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft got caught

ok so me and my friend live together and we both have toddlers and they caught lice ffrom somewhere and we could not afford lice shampoo and we went to cvs and got caught stealing lice shampoo it was tham 30 dollars worth of stuff.the alarms went off when we left the stuff was in my purse and the manager said that wanted us to go to jail. the cop that came was really nice and let us go on the form that he filled out he wrote that the offence was criminal trespassing.she got her court papers in the mail and is being charged with conversion. she has had prior charges from when she was a minor i have never been arrested. what will happen. please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have not been charged with anything yet. she was charged with conversion i assume that mine will be the same.

Maybe not she had priors you do not. Until you get an actual charge we can only assume charge which at this point I suspect will be petty theft
