ok, first off im 22 and I have my own job and bills, but according to the Government i am still a dependent upon my parents. One person tells me to just get emancipated, while another sais it will only help those who are under 18, and another said you have to be 18 with a highschool deploma/GED and a job to be emancipated... Before I go through the whole process of court and everything I would like to know if it will even be worth it for me. The Government official i spoke to said she "Didn't know, but to be independant you must be 25, married, have kids or be in the military." Wow that was the best answer ever i swear, anyway. I mean if it wont be worth it then I'll just say the heck with school all together. Does any one at all know what i have to do???? PLEASE????
