I was accused of taking $6000 from someone, something I am ashamed to say I'm guilty of. This is considered grand larceny. This is my first offense. I was just wondering if I would serve any jail time or anything because of this? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I've looked everywhere.
Thanks!

You'll serve jail time, unless you shut up.

Make no statements or admissions to anyone about these allegations.

Don't help the state prove their case by admitting to anything.

This is not the time to have a conscience, if you don't want to go to prison.

Hire a lawyer.

If you can't afford one, ask fort he state to appoint one for you.

Keep your big mouth shut, unless you are talking to your attorney.

Your attorney won't ask you if you did it.

if you admit it to him/her, he/she can't properly defend you.

Your attorney won't ask you if you did it, so don't volunteer that information.

Is that enough help for you?

That's all you need to know.

That is how the game is played.

If you can't do that, you're going down.

Confession is for the church and God.

You're heading into a courtroom, before a judge and jury.

Stop talking and admitting to anything.

The time for soul bearing and sensitivity was before you did anything.

That ship, unfortunately for you, has sailed!

Unfortunately she has me on camera.

She had the money hid and she has me on camera taking only $50 but doesn't have me on camera or anything for taking all the rest of it.

What part of stop talking don't you understand?

Just stop explaining what someone thinks you did.

Or, just tell them to lock your up for 10 years and let you serve your punishment.

I don't need to know anything to help you stay out of prison.

Just STFU, or bend over and spread 'em for Big Bubba and Slick Sammy to enjoy!

I wonder... does the ability to pay the money back (quickly) factor in to sentencing? Obviously he is still busted, but I wonder if it helps at all when it comes time for sentencing.
