If you're a first time offender, of Grand Larceny, Forgery, and Burglary. What are the chances they'd drop it to petite larceny [ which is what my daughter most badly needs. ] or the harshest punishment. Her record was snow white until this, and she was an accomplice though in the eyes of the law this doesn't matter. Having a misdemeanor like petite larceny, is bad. but a felony on record when you're looking for colleges and jobs, is future suicide. we're most wanting for it to be lowered, to petite larceny, and preferably community service. any chances what so ever?
And a public defender, which is what she had since we're in a bad economical situation. does he only show up on court dates? or is it possible she can talk to him during the day? explain the situation so he can better defend her in court. and if so, what is the average rate. or is it free?
and secondly. my daughter's friend's name was mispelled. is it possible if they look her up in records, she'd be scotch free seeing as her name was really mispelled.
