You don't give much information to go on.
How did you get rid of it?
You could have had it towed away at owner's expense.
If it had been abandoned then there is a process you could have followed to gain ownership.
If you sold the car without obtaining ownership then you have some issues to work through, but it is not necessarily a criminal matter. It could be handled civilly, with you paying the owner a fair value for the car.
