Do grandparents in texas have a law that can take or threaten the mother to take her child or demand visitation? Mother is a great mom just a single parent and ex grandparent might sue? Can they do anything?

She can threaten, you should ignore her.

No, grandparents have no inherent rights to see, visit, or make any decisions for your child.

Mom and Dad reign supreme in the life of their children.
 
The Grandparent(s) can begin a court action is pursuit of removing child/ren from home but unless abuse/neglect can be proven that is very unlikely to happen
