Is it legal to ask for green card expenses reimbursement?

It isn't illegal.

I suppose I could request my neighbor to pay my property taxes.
I could see old Jasper, look at me under that old ten gallon cowboy hat he wears, then just break out laughing.
He's then tell me what he's been telling me for years, "Judge, why you messing with me? You got better things to do, like leave!"
Then he and I just start laughing, and usually end up drinking a beer and telling more lies.
That wouldn't be illegal, just laughable.
