Green card renewal

My green card expired and I want to apply for renewal. I'm afraid my application could be denied. I have three sick children at home and I can't see any future for my children if get deported. I'm a licensed nurse in CA and I have not get in trouble judicially. Is there any chance my application been denied or me been deported?

Once you have your green-card, your status - legal permanent resident - never expires (unless you become a citizen, or abandon your status). It's just the card itself you have to get renewed so please try not to worry.

Remember, your residency is fine. It's just the card.

Is there any reason why you believe it might not be renewed? Based just on what you posted, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be.

Having kids to support is irrelevant to the law. If you qualify for renewal there should be no problem.
