I have worked at this company for 8 years. I am a journeyman boilermaker. I started being harassed by co-workers and supervisors when they found out I dated a black man. The term nigger was used. Though not to my face,the person admitted this to HR. I was ignored and shunned by co-workers. A co-worker proceeded to go to I know of 2 individuals and spread lewd rumors. This is documented by the 2 indivduals in HR and through the union. I was sooo stressed,lost sleep,had lots of fear. My supervisor at the time approached me one day told me to do a job. I said ok, may i have help? Immediately he said how long have you been working here??.THERE IS JUST TOO MUCH TO TYPE.........I JUST NEED HELP!!!!!!!THERE HAVE BEEN DOCUMENTS MADE BY MYSELF AND THE UNION. ANOTHER EVENT HAPPENED THIS WEEK WITH A DIFFERENT SUPERVISOR....THEY ARE BASICALLY TIMING HOW LONG I GO TO THE BATHROOM!!! IS THAT LEGAL?? THE BATHROOM FOR WOMEN IS OUTSIDE DUE TO REMODLING.....BUT THERE IS 5 BATHBROOMS IN THE PLANT FOR THE MEN TO USE....I AM LOSING SLEEP,I AM STRESSED BEYOND BELIEF....I HAVE FEAR OF ASKING FOR HELP ,THAT I MAY GET GRIEF FROM SUPERVISION LIKE I HAVE BEFORE,I HAVE FEAR OF GOING TO THE BATHROOM THAT I MAY TAKE MORE TIME THEN THEY FEEL IS NECESSARY ,I HAVE FEAR OF GOING TO HR BECAUSE I DO NOT FEEL THEY ARE IMPARTIAL.
