Harassment - Loud TV

I live in a coop apartment house and the new neighbor below me has called the police on eight different occasions and eight different times of the day claiming that my TV is too loud. Each time the police come they find nothing wrong and tell me that they can't hear the TV from the neighbors apartment. I filed an harassment complaint (on friendly advice of the police) just to stop the police from coming to my place unnecessarily, yet they keep coming with the same results. Apparently the complaint doesn't work. I also contacted the Coop
Board of Directors and they found nothing inappropriate. What should be my next action? One of the police officers said that a restraining order might be the answer. I don't even know what that is, or how to get it, or even if I can get it.
My wife and I are 65years old without children. It's just us - PLEASE HELP!

Thank You -

You need to write a cease and desist letter to your neighbor informing him/her that if s/he doesn't stop the unwarranted calls to police and unfounded complaints, you will have to pursue this with legal action. That should send a strong message to him/her. Good Luck!

Thank you so much and God Bless! I'll browse through the net to find some wording.
