Dear Law Community,
My grandmother past away back in 2004. She had bank stock that me and her 3 other grandkids were to divide in 1/4 shares. The situation is that I haven't received my 1/4 share. I've been told by the lawyer and the executrix that my 5 yr old cousin doesn't have a SSN. Also, my cousin's parents refuse to either obtain one or provide one.
First of all, I am being told the truth by the executrix and their lawyer? The value of my 1/4 share I am to receive is between $2,000-$5,000. If my cousin never obtains a SSN or his parents refuse to provide it, what legal action do I take?
