A man died in NJ Middlesex County. He did not have a will. He was never married nor had children. His parents are both deceased and he has 1 living sister, 1 deceased brother and 1 deceased sister. He had money at the time of his death along with a car. Question who is entitled to his property? Is it his sister and the children of his deceased brother and deceased sister or is it just the only living sister? How long before the state steps in and takes his assets and money. He died in 2011. I would like to the court to resolve this.

This is tearing our family apart please advise so we can set this to rest.

Google search intestate succession law in the state of N.J. Has anyone opened probate?
