Assault & Battery help!! court tomorrow

My jurisdiction is: nebraska

My son has court tomorrow for sentencing on a Misdemeanor charge of domestic assault but he is wondering if he fails to appear will they cross state lines to apprehend him. (he lives in Kansas). Also he originally had 4 charges inclulding a felony charge of strangulation and 2 other misdemeanor counts of assault the DA offered him a deal 2 drop all charges except a domestic assault if he plead guilty (which he wasn't) but to avoid a trial he agreed can they reinstate those dropped charges if he doesn't go to court. We need an answer asap please. I am not encouraging him to do this but he is scared.

They may cross State lines to apprehend him. I know of quite a few cases where people crossed State lines to arrest someone for failure to pay child support.

In my State they can reinstate the dropped charges. . . I don't know about Nebraska.

Becoming a fugitive almost never works. It's a lifetime decision. If he's staying in the US odds are great he'll be found out, or the anxiety and stress of being hunted makes him turn himself in.

He should go to court. . .
