help get this man out of my house

I live in Baltimore County Maryland. I am renting a home with an option to purchase. The lease is in my name and my 85 year old dad who resides with me. I let my boyfriend move in last April. All the utilities are in my name. In mid November I told him the relationship was not working out and I asked him to find a place to move to. As christmas drew closer, I told him he could move after the holidays. He says he cannot afford to move, and he will move when he is good and ready. Although he is not physically abusive, he is verbally abusive and his loud angry behavior is very intimidating. My children have expressed how upsetting this is for them and I am certain it is upsetting for my dad as well. What can I do to get him out?

Go to court and get a restraining order against him to BAR him from the property....you want to remove him from coming near your CHILDREN - next time don't be so quick to move a strange man into your home with your children.

Thanks for your reply. FYI I did know him for 2 years before he moved in but alas......one's true colors come out sooner or later. BIG MISTAKE, for me, but hopefully a good lesson has been learned. I am going to the courthouse tomorrow to do whatever I can legally to ensure that he leaves. Thanks again!
