My neighbor is not abiding by the convenants in our new subdivision. We have had an ongoing bad relationship for two years (personally I think that he is mentally imbalanced). We have already contacted the builder to send out a certified letter stating the convenants and that he needs to abide by them (as he lied to my husband and me that he did not receive the letter in January). We amicably tried to talk with him and reiterate that (dirt bike, three wheelers) are not allowed.
This happened Easter Sunday. I walked off and told him to go to hell as he is just trying to play games and feel like his attitude is that he doesn't care...I then received a notice today that he contacted the police about me trespassing on his property and that I will be arrested if I walk on his property. We try our very best to ignore this lousy neighbor. He has done other weird things in the past (like watching me come and go from home) and I feel at this point he is really harassing me personally. And of course, at all costs we don't go on his property whatsoever.
What are my rights? Can someone please help me. Thank you,
