Help in CA

I've worked at my company for close to two years and have never had a problem with any employee until recently. There was a very small confrontation that both my company and I could have handled in a better way. The situation is now cleared. However, I am now finding out through new employees that my company is warning them about me in the training class. Are they allowed to give these new employees, that I will be working closely with, a predetermined idea of how to interpret me? I feel it is a false misrepresentation. Is there anything I can do about this so they will no longer misrepresent me or anyone else in the future?
