Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication HELP Please

I got a visit from police yesterday. They had a warrant for my arrest for poessesion of ephedrine with intesnt to manufacture. I have never done meth. I have been buying cold tablets and taking them myself. I bought to many and they have all my purchases, but i never intended on making it or selling it. I didnt know it a crime to buy to much of that stuff. They asked if they could search my house and car and i let them. They found empty boxes that i had and the packages. I had to go to jail and get out on bail. Now i have a court date. They said something about a urine test and i wanted to take one. When i got to police station i asked they told me nothing was said about that. Omg im so scared im not a drug dealer or maker, i was just taking the pills. Can anyone help me out with advise please. thanks, M.

It generally takes a lot of product and other information to get criminally charged for production. I would recommend you consult an attorney as the police may have more evidence than you think they have. If it is all a mistake, and you are just a cold pill fiend (very dangerous for you), then an attorney might be able to sort it out.

Ephedrine is used to make meth and if you buy large amounts of it, it is obviously going to raise some eyebrows. If you are really sick then honestly you should try some cold products that do not have ephedrine in them. It is going to be very hard for then to prove anything it sounds like. Have you been appointed a public defender?

NO I dont have a lawyer yet. court date is oct 15.
