Help with my Marriage

I have been married to my husband for 12 years now.My husband has always drank booze but now he is a full blow alcoholic. He is dying from liver failer, But it's getting out of hand he is driving when he is so drunk he just passes out. Last night My daughter called and told me he went in the ditch and mess up the truck. I'm affraid that he is going to hurt someone, He wants to hurt himself fine but to hurt innocent people. If I get legaly seperated would that protect me and my family, my property from Lawsuit. We can't afford to get divoriced. How do I protect myself???

May I suggest you get yourself to some Alanon meetings. There is much you can learn that will help in those groups
