Here is the case in a nutshell.
In early 1989 I dated a co-worker; suddenly she left the job without notice and did not contact me any further. I never knew what happened, but assumed she just left and went on her way. After she left the job I later learned she was married and not single. Later that year I met someone else and got married Jan 1st 1990. Later that month I was asked to appear at the child support office and was told I was named the father of a child by the 1st named individual. I appeared for the testing etc and told them she was married. The state of Missouri told me to get lost that if she was married I had no rights and I needed to stay away from the kid. In May of 2007, I received a notice that I was again being named the father of this kid – 17 plus years later. Since that time she divorced the 1st husband and he filled out an affidavit stating he was not the father – notarized at a bank – in 1993 – no court information on the affidavit. I have been genetic tested and believed to be the father – however at age 18 I have no rights to custody and have been not involved with this child because I did not know that he was mine. I have a court date of April 2nd 2008.
Where are my rights and is this not fraud? It is convenient that 1 month before this started again in 2007 that my mother passed away and there was an estate sale and the obituary that stated where I lived. I hired an attorney in 2007 – but he seems to have let things slip and seems to only be interested in making deals etc, but not addressing the issue.
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to see an attorney. Normally it is MUCH too late for her to dispute paterntiy now. Her husband was the legal father this whole time since she was married when she conceived and gave birth. See if you can get this motion dismissed.
