Ok, so a couple of months ago, me and my mother had a falling out; and I moved up north because of it. I was a minor at the time, ( I am an adult now ) and a couple of days ago I received an email from my sister saying that I had received mail from an attorney, stating that I had spent a bad check, and owed "this" amount. Which I found weird because when I was a minor and first started working; her boyfriend opened up a checking account with me. I have never written nor spent a check before in my life. Now she won't let me see or receive the certain letter. Is there anything I can do to get this letter? Or for that matter, how do I go about dealing with this check? I know for a FACT this check I did not spend, nor did I write.
Thanks for ANY help received.

Ask your sister to give you the attorney's contact information so you can get the additional informaton you are asking for in your posting. Good Luck!

That's the problem; my mother won't let anyone give me any information, or let anyone send it to me or anything.

Have you changed your mailing information at the post office to have your correspondence come to your new address? Once you do that, the attorney will probably send you a second request letter and you will then be able to see what the claim is about. Good Luck!
