The other day I was at a grocery store where you scan your items and bag them yourself. I stupidly decided to save some money and not scan all of my items. At the checkout they did a random check and scanned seven items in my cart to see if they were all there. And of course they weren't. The lady told me to just go back through the checkout, which I did and paid (in full) for everything in my cart. That was it. I left and they said nothing else. I've never done anything like this so I'm just worried that they can get my credit card information (from paying) and I used a card from the store, so they probably have my address on file. Can they call the police and give them that information? Even though I paid for everything- so technically I didn't steal anything (I kept my receipt). Please help! I'm so worried and this really scared! I'll never do anything so stupid again!
