I'll try to make this short. It's a pretty involved situation but as of right now I'm not too concerned that anything is going to come from it.
Basic details are I live in Wisconsin I'm 18, I let a 15/16 (not sure of age) year old kid try a SMALL bump of heroin. I'm not the kind of person that would ever give a younger kid such a hard narcotic but I was aware that he had done lots of opiates in the last year and he begged me for just a small amount.
He goes to school the next day and brags to all his friends about doing loads of heroin with this tight dude. One of his more concerned friends called his parents and told them. The kid never admits to it but continuously runs away off and on for the next week so the parents aren't too happy with him. My name was never mentioned btw at this point. The friend that narked on the kid told the parents it came from a kid in a certain sub-division, but no name.
All of the above happened roughly 2 months ago.
A month ago the dumb kid does 17 shots of 151 concurrently. Btw this kid is pretty small. His heart starts beating slowly and he freaks out, calls his parents, off to the hospital, doctors ask the usual question, TELL ME EVERYTHING YOUVE BEEN ON IN THE LAST 3 MONTHS RIGHT NOW!, hes drunk and scared, his parents are there, he admits to his extensive drug use but also says right to everyone there, "my name" gave me heroin. Obviously the heroin from 3 weeks ago wasnt what put him in the ER, 17 shots of a CNS depressant will slow down your heart when youre that small!
Ok so now the parents know my name and the substance. I hear about this as its happening from my best friend so i do a bit of house cleaning in case the police get involved. All substances and paraphenalia are out of my household and for the most part everything that came into contact with an illegal substance was wiped down with a chlorine based multi-cleaner. (took me hours btw) Another thing to mention is that I was/have been fighting a minor heroin addiction for the last three months. 2 months ago i was doing 10 lines a day, two weeks ago i was down to just one line and did none after that. So i've been clean for at least 2 weeks. and i beat the addiction.
im really sorry i didnt mean for the post to be so long. So now I'm wondering what the police could possibly do to me? a search of my room? my biggest question that i cant seem to find an answer for anywhere is CAN THE POLICE FORCE ME TO DO A DRUG TEST? And if it's sooner rather than later and i test positive for opiates then what could they do with that? i mean they could prove i did it, but that doesnt prove i gave it to the kid. plus the heroin has been out of HIS system for a long time in case they drug test him. How fucked could I be? No prior convictions of any kind btw. also another big question i have is WHAT COULD THEY POSSIBLY GET AWAY CHARGING ME WITH?
Any info or advice on what else to do would be really really appreciated! I mean the cops could pull up in 5 minutes and I'm not exactly sure what they could do or what i should do. Any other preventive measures I could take?
