H Visa HIB Visa, INS error

[Question]

Hello,

I am an F1 student, and i have OPT until March 2009, and my company filed for my H1B visa in the new quota system, under the general (US Bachelors Degree) catagory, I just got a deniel from INS stating the reason that the: Master Quota was reached! It looks like INS filed it in the wrong category. Is there any appeal/pettition for such INS mistake? Can I expect any favors fom INS in the next year filing?

No favors but they will correct any errors if you contact them........ All quotas might have been met.........so double check with them.
