The profession said to have the highest rate of suicides is dentistry.
However, that statistic isn't all that meaningful.

Even the much smaller Hong Kong has a higher rate of suicides than the much larger United States.

Reminds me of the story about a guy who was so depressed he called the suicide hotline to report his grief and his intentions.

The suicide hotline had been outsourced to the middle east and the counselor asked "Can you drive a van?"



And the high rate of depression in the dental field explains why dentists always look down in the mouth.
