Hire a attroney? PJC?

I got my traffic ticket in Meck. Charlotte, going 80 mph in 65.

I currently have 8 points, ( 4 points will dissappear in 2 months) , and my court date is

next monday.

I never had PJC in 3 years. I wonder if I have a chance of getting PJC.

And can I do that by myself? of Do i have to hire an attorney?

I talked to one of the attorney very shortly, but he said I have to have a continuem and

go to the driving school.

If i know what to do, can I do all these alone? with out a help from the attorney?

(Didn't really understand why I had to go to the driving school)

And is it true that in my case the points I will get is 3 points?

Is there any way to reduce my fine (bribe? ) and points?

With the offense as serious as you have, get an attorney. The decision will likely pay off in not having to pay off to someone (insurance and/or the state) as much as you would have without one. Regarding a Prayer for Judgment or a PJC as you call it (Prayer for Judgment Continued) I am unaware if this is offered in Michigan and only am aware of it being offered in North Carolina.
