The HOA of my neighborhood has sent me a "final" attempt to collect unpaid dues. They claim to have already placed a lien on my house for the year of 2006. I refuse to pay primarily because upon purchasing this foreclosed house I was never told nor warned against a HOA. Secondly they provide little to no service other than a community pool which I have never step foot near. Do I have rights against these people? In my humble opinion this is absolutely absurd!
