I am a traveling Electrician currently working in Las Vegas, NV. My wife is a teacher living at our home in Powhatan County, VA. I want to sell our home within 3 years but she does not want to sell. Can I sign over my half of the house to her and receive my half of the equity? I do not want a divorce, but I want my half of the equity so that I can reinvest the money in what I want. Or do I have to start a divorce process to get my half of the equity?:dunno:
