My landlord did not pay his '08 Homeowner's Association Fee and I, as tenant, along with the landlord's name on the papers were served with papers from an attorney regarding the owed fees for 2008. Do I have any obligation in this case?

Send the papers to your landlord so s/he can take care of past due fees. Make sure you deliver it either in person or you send it via certified mail so you will have evidence that the papers were properly delivered. Your name was listed because you are the current occupant.
