My mom after a long day at work went to pick up a bday card while also shoppin for regular groceries..she put the card on top of her bag since there was meat and cold products in the cart. in the rush of things her phone rang and the card fell into her bag and she did not realise the card was in..when she went to pay she paid for all the items in the cart...but totally forgot about the card. in any case...after she checkd out they told her she was shoplifting etc...the amt was under 5 bucsk...they told her they were not pressing charges and she was not allowed to come the store. i wuz just curious to give my mom some peace of mind...what does this mean besides the fatc tht she cannot shop at this store anymore.? does it affetc her real job.credit ratings...
my mom is very torn up about this..cause she hasnt done anything wrong and the people were rude and would not listen to anything she had to say. i understand they were doing thier job...but if anyone could please just answer these questions id be grateful.
