hours worked

My workweek is 40 hours, if I work 10 hours a day for 4 days, can I still have my vacation or sick time (that is already accumulated) docked if I take the fifth day off for vacation or sick leave?

I work in Illinois and I am told that I am salaried exempt

Yes, they can still require that you use vacation or sick time for the fifth day.
