Drug Crimes, Substance Abuse House Raided for Selling Drugs

My house was raided about 2 months ago. Apparently my brother and cousin by law were selling drugs out of my house. They found in their rooms: brother 1 pound of weed whose room was in the attic,my cousins room they found 2 ounces of weed that was hidden, and an unregistered 22. In my room they found half a nickel bag.and a bowel. Whitch was not mine it was my fiance who went to jail a week before. Everybody was arrested but myself. My cousin told me he was a barber whitch I believed because we had a barber chair in my back room..and he use to work back there. And my brother was working under the table. I am 24 years old and I worked as a cna from 1:30 pm to 11:30 at night 6 days a week so I was never home. They said my house was under servailence from June21 to Augest 14 2012. The state police told me I would receive court papers in the mail. I never received anything because in pa we get our court papers certified.and now I am being served with a warrant? I was never in trouble with law ! I need some advise!

Okay, you have a very big storm brewing. But, there is always a way to minimize or eliminate the damage.

If you are arrested, make no statements, provide a confession, or say anything about this matter. You simply be polite, provide your name, date of birth, and other biographical and historical information. Then you politely say the following: "I wish to invoke all of my rights, have a lawyer appointed to represent me, and remain silent. Thank you."

If they persist, they usually do, just keep repeating, "Sorry, I want a lawyer. I have nothing more to say." Now this is very important, do not discuss anything about the other people. They police can be very clever, but no mater what, just keep asking for a lawyer.

If a warrant has been issued, call a bail bondsman and ask him or her how much bond will cost for your case. They have ways of finding that out and will tell you if he or she can bond you. Usually they can, and some will make payment arrangements. Either way, you will know how bad this is. That is not to say it will stay that way. It can get better, but don't try to fix this alone. A lawyer will get a deal that can not be reneged and will ensure you protections.

This will take time. So, you must be patient. Get on a phone and speak with a bail bonding agency ASAP. If you can afford it, hire a lawyer. If you can't afford it, ask for the court to appoint one for you. That takes a bit longer, but whatever you do, YOU MUST NOT SPEAK OF THIS. Speak of the case ONLY to your lawyer.
