If I may, let me give you a few more details of the situation and see if you can see an avenue that I may be able to pursue here. As briefly as I can..
Had agreement with Business Owner, Dog's Inn to park my coach there and honored my agreement from the start. That was April 2006. In Nov. 06 he called and told me he was selling his business to a lady from NY and that she was interested in buying it from me as she needed a place to live during the transition. I sent letter stating if she would take care of the coach, specified NO ANIMALS INSIDE and in lieu of my monthly fee she could stay in the coach until I could get with her to work out arrangements for her to purchase it. We agreed upon a price and there were numerous reasons and/or excuses why she could never seem to get me any money. In the meantime, I found out she wasn't personally staying in the coach. It had become the home of a homeless person and the Kennel now ran by the new business owner, started using my coach for a sick bay for dogs and cats. Since it became obvious that I was being conned when I was told by 3rd party she never intended to buy it, in fact had someone ready to buy it from her without a title for hunting lease never to be seen again, I went there February 22, 07 to get my coach along with close to $7500 of other personal property inside of it. When I arrived, the lady called her land lord and he was there in minutes. Until then, I never knew another party even existed. He demanded $4500 and said I could not have the coach, further was banned from the property and told to leave. Late the next day with camera in my pocket, I took 2 bottles of wine and some food to coax the lady living with the animals in my coach to let me get a few of my belongings. I was literally sick to see that there was 13 very sick cats and 5 young sick puppies that had been turned loose inside and the interior of my coach is a total loss and have to be gutted and refurbished in order to ever use again. I took lots of photo documentation of what I saw. 6 months ago he called me and told me he had leased out the property again and said I could come and get my coach out of there. I made arrangements for a wrecker service with a storage facility to go get my coach and relocate it to their storage facility. I gave wrecker driver cell phone of land owner to coordinate with. On two occasions the gates were locked up with chains and we could not reach owner for access. Now I get demand for the same original $4500 or the title or it will be sold June 4th in 4 days now. I have to somehow stop this. I should have a claim against them should I not? Question, whether or not I really pursued it or not, what if we filed a suite against him for damages to the coach since he has assumed responsibility for it. In essence he is wanting me to pay him for them destroying my coach! That's just not right sir! Could something like that be filed quickly and in fact stop it's being sold and just freeze things long enough for me to come up with a plan B? Sir, I really thank you for your time in helping me. I am searching for a ray of hope in saving it for reasons I won't go into but are very personal in nature. I will gladly accept your council. Further, I will add to the amount as much as I can for this additional time. Please help me figure out a game plan that I may start the ball rolling tomorrow morning as I am driving there to get in the middle of it. I'm actually in Dallas, TX. 5000 miles round trip. Yee Haw! Thanks again sir!
