How Do I Evict Girlfriend From My Home

I live in the State of Illinois. In 2000, my girlfriend moved into my home with her daughter. I owned the home prior to 2000.

In the 9 years she has lived with me, she has held a separate job, checking account & managed her own finances. I have also held a job, maintained a separate checking account & managed my own finances. Additionally, I have solely paid the mortgage, real estate taxes, utilities & upkeep of the home.

I have asked her to leave & she has refused. How do I evict her? Do I have any financial liabilities?

Yuo need to give her a written notice to leave witjhin 30 days. Check the landlord tenant act in your state for the lawful way to do it, in case she does not leave in 30 days.

since you are not married, you should owe her nothing.
