In the divorce agreement between myself and the x-spouse, it was agreed that each would get a set amount of money for attorneys fees and if there was any money left over, it would be split between us. I've been unable to get the x-spouse to reply to requests on what the bill was and how much was returned. I've filed suit in 'Justice Civil' court in Montgomery County, TX and I would like to file a discovery request to get either her, or her x-lawyer, or both, to produce the billing records from the divorce. I need an example of what a discovery document looks like so I can fill one out. Much thanks in advance.

Go leaf through some lawsuits similar to yours.

They are public records, regardless of what the cranky clerk tells you.

Hi, in my state South Carolina the judge told me that there is no option of discovery in small claims court. I hope you find the information you're looking for. There is a lot of time invested in these types of civil cases.
