My wife of 2 1/2 years and I have decided to dissolve our marriage based on irreconcilable differences. We are both being totally civil about it, but I'm not sure what the easiest, least expensive way to do it is. We rent a condo, so no mortgage, all credit cards, car titles, etc. are in one name or the other. The only joint account is a checking account which will become mine, as I am paying the bills until she finds a job. We don't have any arguments to settle in court, all we need is to legally dissolve the marriage, but we don't have too much money, and I want to make sure it's done right. What's the best route to take?
