I am trying to put together a small claims case against a known company who did extensive damage to my vehicle. In trying to gather information on filing a claim, I have run into a road block. It seems that I have to find out who should be served the papers before I can have them served. The company is actually a subsidiary doing business as under the big company's name. How in the world can I find out who gets served?

Look up online who the registered agent is for the company. Every state requires it. At the very worst, I would sue both of them, especially if the sub is doing business as the parent.
