My boyfriend violated a no contact order and got a DV-dest. of prop. misdemeanor...How can I avoid testifying without getting in any trouble?

Can I get a no contact order dropped if it was violated? and it was for DV- dest. of prop? Its only been a week since the violation and almost 2 months since the no contact order was placed is this something the judge would consider dropping?

The judge granted the request for a reason... to protect you. It is not likely to be dropped. Once it is dropped and you end up dead in a ditch then it makes everyone involved look real silly.
They guy is obviously still violent... why would you expect them to make things easier on him?

if you are ordered to court then you will need to go. If they ask you questions then you can refuse to answer. If you refuse to answer you could be found in contempt. If you are found in contempt, you could find yourself in jail until you decide to cooperate. Hopefully you won't feel compelled to lie... that will just makes things worse.
