I have noisy neighbors. I' ve made 3 phone complaints about them, and sent 2 certified letters filing complaints.I"m sending a 3rd today. The apartment management obviously only cares about making money (keeping that apartment rented) so evicting people is something their dragging their feet on. I've asked the apartment manager for copies of written warnings given to these noisy people, but never heard back. This tells me that they only made phone warnings.
These people are back to being noisy again, and I warned apartment management that if they don't take care of the problem I will contact an attorney about taking action against apartment management. Under Utah state codes, I have a right to peace and quiet, and as tenants my neighbors have a responsiblity to keep the noise down. I've pointed this out to management, but nothing has changed.
What legal action can I take against the apartment management?
