Three months in hospital was a constant series of mistakes and miscommunication. E-coli after a blood transfusion, infection after catheter because nurses tired of changing bed pan, caught flu from staff, wrists restrained (while vomiting), sheets not changed after vomiting until visitor did them the next day. Nurse sitter acting asleep when telling her I had to pee. My stay was extended an extra month because of feeding tube clogging because they were not flushing it as often as mfgr suggested. Insurance won't pay for last seventeen days. I think my doctor was in over his head.
I think of how I was treated daily, in school, at work, while trying to sleep, etc.
Can I sue?
What would I need to prove damage?
